Had to leave Walgreens a few months ago. They are going to flat out kill someone with that staff they currently have. Just incompetent and do not give a crap. They also never have the medication you need. Regularly it has to be ordered and the 2 or 3 days they say it will be, turns into a few weeks.
Went to HEB. The really good pharmacist at Walgreens (Sara) quit and went to HEB. I like that they are close by and easy to get to. Sadly the lines are worse there than they were at Walgreens. They do always have the medication you need and are pretty fast getting it filled. My only issue was getting all of my families meds under one account. This way I can just go online and get refills. Easy as can be right? Even Walgreens had this right. Never had an issue doing this there. So I set up an HEB account. Have had RX's for everyone in the family. However, only one family member is showing up on the online HEB pharmacy app. So I called the help line this am, and they told me that it is super easy to do. (music to my technically deficient ears) All I had to do was set up everyone online with a different email, then have that person call in and give the pharmacy the authorization to change the emails to one family account. Super simple they said. I am like nope, not gonna make 3 new emails just to get the RX's under one account. Who does that? Well I know Walgreens never had me do this.
So I called Walmart, or Smallmart here in Kingwood, per nycoil they are good and so far his recommendations have been spot on, they were able to set up the accounts in less than 10 minutes over the phone for me. So easy, and done. Didn't need authorization from anyone, didn't need 4 emails, and the person that answered the phone at this Walmart was super helpful and happy to help me. She wasn't hurried or rushed or annoyed in any way. I am so pleased. Best of all when we travel and end up needing something we can get it easily with Walmart because they are everywhere. Thankfully HEB isn't.
I hope today keeps going like this.
