Hell must have frozen over or his back neighbor is threatening to sue him. I hope the tree people are charging the bastard triple.
He rents his house, and the renters are good people, he just sucks as a human being and a landlord. He never has taken care of his property. Dh will get tired of his dead limbs hitting our cars and call him and threaten him and he will get tree people out. The only time he does anything is when he is threatened.
He can't sell his house ever either. Too many trees at the foundation and he now has major foundation damage. This is why he rents his house. He is just a pos of a human being.
If anyone is looking for a deal in Sand Creek, look at this house on Maple Terrace. Take a left off of Willow Terrace onto Maple Terrace, go straight at the first stop sign, there is a house on the left that has a roll off container in the driveway. It is blocking 2 or 3 cars. Totally overgrown front yard and obviously the cars aren't in working order. Been this way for months. I think if you look up the owners and find them or call the bank that has the mortgage you may be able to get it for a steal. No idea what the inside looks like, but the outside is gonna need some elbow grease and a good yard crew. I think the only way to get a good deal on a house nowadays is to find one not listed that clearly is abandoned.

Yea, after a tree limb fell and did 5K worth of damage to my Lincoln, I was surprised my apt complex came out and took 3 trees (just from my are that I saw) down that could drop limbs on my car. I appreciated that.

I am literally counting on a tree falling on our house. That way we'll have to stay at Marriott hotels for a few weeks and I will finally reach lifetime titanium.
😂
Obviously I don't have a competitive bone in my body.

Living in the forest is cool and all, but no trees close to the house!
Several years ago one of those May floods came through KW. Son had parked the Expedition on the street in front of the house. Huge gumball tree limb fell on the back of it, shattered all the glass, and the we got 4 inches of heavy rain. Totalled.

It finally dried out enough this week for some heavy duty tree work. Took out 2 massive oaks that had fallen and while they were here had them do more trimming and grind out some old stumps. Put a big smile on my face. The little things.. And now here comes another storm I guess. Under a tornado watch...

hey now... I used to work with Mark Scirto YEARS ago.... Nice career and seems like a great guy. I don't watch any Tyler channels so I didn't know who he was. But whoever is doing the forecasts on my weather apps totally suck.

The weather people here in Houston are the worst! I have always watched the weather, and it is generally on point. Here? Hell no. Never right. The weather ap on my phone changes every few hours. lol
When my mil would come and we didn't watch the weather it freaked her out. So we turned it on and she watched it and after a few days she asked how they were still employed. One thing about NC, Raleigh in particular, is that they have some great weather people. They are right a week out. A week!
