Time to call in the cajun navy? I do think they are having to take care of their problems right now. They are lower than us and they have had this raining situation last week and this.

This will also effect KW, but y'all don't have a County Judge that gives a damn, so I'll post this from Mark Keough...

Dang - go to youtube and watch it. It's funny. He does need to get rid of the lisp, but yeah, we'll be needing cans and cans of that pretty darn soon if this rain keeps up.

Both my sisters-in-law are arriving today, one is flying in from Phoenix and her flight has been delayed twice. I think maybe she's boarding the plane now. My other sister-in-law is driving in from Louisiana. And at this moment my husband is on his way into Houston for a work-related errand. He's going to send me updates, and I'm especially interested in the status of the river.

Kingwood people --- this is going to be a problem for you. You don't live on the Trinity River, but EmmyLou's sister coming in from Louisiana will for sure. They are getting heavier rains than we just got and it's been going on since last week.
As for KW --- this will effect you because it's coming down through Cleveland and the tributaries that feed into Lake Conroe.

This afternoon, this part of Texas was clear, now there are 3 storms brewing and heading east-southeast. I suspect they will merge into a whopper during the night.
We don't need anymore rain, especially like what we got today. Hope Cador's place doesn't take in any water and everything is back to normal tomorrow when the storms pass.
This was at 7:30 this evening
And this is at 8:15 tonight!

She's flying in, and her flight just left New Orleans a few minutes ago. I am pretty sure things will be okay. The two of them are staying at a hotel in atascocita on 1960. I don't think the major roads are going to be flooded, just neighborhoods. I'm a little worried for a good friend of ours who lives in forest cove, in the black cat ridge section. She is completely bedridden and has a helper who comes in every morning for a half day. I'm hoping her helper is able to get there tomorrow and the next day.
