You've got some big weather heading for your area for tonight!
Go get the squatch in something to protect him - don't want him to get pounded by hail and heavy rain.

I ain't skeered. Release the Kraken. We already went thru the Derecho last July with 100 mph "straight line winds" and otherworldy lightning. Bring it. I'll watch from the porch with some movie popcorn

Are y'all wet yet?
I've been up since 5:30 and there was only 1/4" of rain in our gauge. Now, at 7:00, there are 2" in the gauge! The storm seems to be sitting over us.
One good thing about the heavy rain in Texas -- all these stupid protesters are getting wet!!! hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

I did the same in Harvey. www.freemaptools.com/elevation-finder.htmTo answere your previous question, it been coming hard for 10 minutes, but just quit. Do not think it's done though. Edit-it's baaccckkkk....

I'm lookin at our parking lot and it's dry, doesn't look like we got any rain. Lina said we were going to flood. Lake Conroe is releasing and the whole area around Woodlands/Spring/Aldine (they do not feed into Lake Conroe) are getting hammered & has been since about 7 this morning!
We are east of the LC dam so we don't feed into it at all, but Livingston is flooded and releasing and all the areas south of Cleveland and Plum Grove are flooding right now - they feed into Lake Houston, so y'all will be getting those as well.
If you have low water areas in your parking lot - move your vehicles to higher ground.

I was in slight panic mode yesterday. Was looking at flights back. But the east fork san Jacinto peak was less than predicted and well below historic floods. Today neighbors are calling and everyone is panicking as the water is backing up and the street is flooded. Heard KHS parking lot is flooded. FML.

Looks like you might be dragging it to Florida with you - it's headed that direction unless Louisiana sucks the clouds dry as it passes them.
